👋Some Goodbyes and Hello’s
Goodbye from the 2020/21 Board
Dear IRO Community,
It’s been a long year with many ups and downs, but the Board and I could not be happier about how everything went. We all had our little lists of what we wanted to achieve this year for CIROS and merged them together into one collective list of goals. Despite all of the hurdles we faced and the restrictions of having to do everything, we managed to implement a lot of the things we discussed at the beginning of the year. We introduced important changes that will hopefully make CIROS stronger and more inclusive in the future. All of this was thanks to you. Without your votes and support, we would have not been able to work on all of this. Our committees and clubs supported 5 charities and organised over 100 events and initiatives this year. We could not be more impressed and thankful for everything our committees and clubs have achieved despite the ongoing pandemic. Your suggestions and feedback were highly appreciated, as they allowed us to think more critically and develop CIROS further. Thank you for being part of this year’s journey and enjoy your summer!
Wishing you all the best,
Your CIROS President 2020/21 Esther
🙁 Goodbye Ben,
I would also like to say a quick personal goodbye and thank you to everyone who has been reading my newsletters. I have enjoyed writing these every month, and hope they were as informative and maybe even fun as I hoped they would be.
But now I leave you all in the very capable hands of Sophia, who will take the position next year.
😊and hello Sophia!

Hi all!
I’m very excited to write my first part of the newsletter I will be taking over from Ben as part of the incoming board next year. We’re all eager to get to work expanding the community and hopefully meet everyone in person some more next year.
Despite the tough and challenging year that we’ve experienced together, all the committees and clubs have done such a great job in adapting their work and events. Next year I am looking forward to growing our clubs and supporting the great work the committees do for the community. And all our work will continue to be reflected in the newsletter and website.
But for now, enjoy our well-earned summer break, and I hope to see you all next year in a committee, club, or maybe even at a borrel (fingers crossed).
See you soon,
Sophia
❓ As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out and contact me at info@cirosthehague.com.
But that’s all from me again! I hope this newsletter has been informative, and maybe you found something to do, but most of all I hope that you are all relaxing and enjoying some time off if possible!
So, on behalf of CIROS,
Happy holidays and congratulations once again!
